For more curated DAM links, see the weekly <a href=\"http:\/\/digitalassetmanagement.com\/blog\/tag\/links\/\">Digital Asset Management.com Links<\/a>.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I highly recommend reading Ralph Windsor\u2019s article <a href=\"http:\/\/digitalassetmanagementnews.org\/finding-signs-of-life-in-dam-diagnosing-what-has-gone-wrong\/\">Finding signs of life in DAM: Diagnosing what has gone wrong<\/a>, along with the comments. Metadata entry, finding assets, and interoperability are at the heart of DAM, yet our systems aren\u2019t exactly great at those. (Ralph also criticizes the lack of innovation in DAM in an <a href=\"http:\/\/digitalassetmanagementnews.org\/vendors\/intelligencebank-upgrades-dam\/\">IntelligenceBank-triggered \u201crant\u201d<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>Combining DAM with a cross-silo knowledge graph is one of my pet topics (see <a href=\"\/tim\/weblog\/archives\/2014\/03\/12\/1701\">Not just metadata<\/a>).
