{"id":1808,"date":"2015-09-07T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-09-06T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wwwneu.strehle.de\/tim\/weblog\/archives\/2015\/09\/07\/1570-2\/"},"modified":"2015-09-07T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2015-09-06T22:00:00","slug":"1570-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.strehle.de\/tim\/weblog\/archives\/2015\/09\/07\/1570-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Looking forward to the International Newsroom Summit in Hamburg"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I don\u2019t travel much, so I\u2019m extra happy that the publishing industry (where most of our customers are from) is going to meet in our home town this year: The WAN-IFRA <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wan-ifra.org\/events\/world-publishing-expo-2015\">World Publishing Expo 2015<\/a> (Twitter: <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/WPE15?src=hash\">#WPE15<\/a>) takes place in Hamburg, Germany from October 5-7.<\/p>\n<p>Our company <a href=\"http:\/\/www.digicol.de\">Digital Collections<\/a> is exhibiting (booth 1.415), but I hope not to spend too much time at the booth because I want to attend the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wan-ifra.org\/events\/14th-international-newsroom-summit\">International Newsroom Summit<\/a> (Twitter: <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/newsroom15?src=hash\">#Newsroom15<\/a>) that takes place on Monday October 5th as part of the Expo.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019m especially looking forward to the Newsroom Summit session \u201cFinding Relevant News Faster\u201d with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wan-ifra.org\/events\/speakers\/michael-steidl\">Michael Steidl<\/a> (IPTC), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wan-ifra.org\/events\/speakers\/dave-compton\">Dave Compton<\/a> (Thomson Reuters) and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wan-ifra.org\/events\/speakers\/robert-schmidt-nia\">Robert Schmidt-Nia<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.xing.com\/companies\/go?name=dpa+mediatechnology+GmbH\">dpa mediatechnology<\/a>).
